Xur has reappeared in Bungie’s Destiny 2, only two weeks before The Witch Queen arrives. Until tomorrow’s weekly reset, he can be located in the EDZ’s Winding Cove or in Eternity. Telesto, an Energy fusion rifle, is the Exotic weapon on sale this week for 29 Legendary Shards.
While other fusion guns shoot their bolts after a period of charging, Telesto’s bolts adhere to foes for a period of time before exploding. Multi-kills with the weapon will replenish one’s reserves of equipped Kinetic and Energy weapons. This is a good Special weapon that you should try out.
Aeon Swift (Hunter gloves), Aeon Safe (Titan gloves), and Phoenix Protocol (Warlock chest) are this week’s Exotic items, each worth 23 Legendary Shards. Kills and assists while inside the Super will build energy for the following Super, so Phoenix Protocol is well worth it for those using Well of Radiance.
Aeon Swift and Aeon Safe both contain the Aeon’s Wrath perk, which boosts reload and exchange times while allowing for swift precision hits. With teammates close, stunning a Champion or beating a boss/mini-boss grants a “burst” of grenade and melee energy. Super energy is also gained by those who do not have the Sect of Force role equipped.
The Gensym set is this week’s Legendary armor, and each piece costs 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer. Below are this week’s Legendary weapons:
- True Prophecy – Primary Hand Cannon
- Seventh Seraph Carbine – Primary Auto Rifle
- The Last Dance – Energy Sidearm
- Wishbringer – Energy Shotgun
- Truthteller – Energy Grenade Launcher
- Honor’s Edge – Heavy Sword
- Tomorrow’s Answer – Heavy Rocket Launcher
