Dying Light 2 is plenty of references and easter eggs, but one of the most helpful secrets is a weapon that plainly parallels another weapon featured in Cyberpunk 2077.
A YouTuber named Punish has published a helpful YouTube video outlining where to obtain the blueprint that allows you to create the Cyber Hands 2177 weapon, as discovered by Eurogamer’s Polish site. This is a one-of-a-kind set of knuckle dusters that connect blades to the backs of the player’s hands, akin to the Cyberpunk 2077 Mantis Blades.
To obtain the blueprints, players must first climb to the top of the VNC Building using the inner elevator. They must then jump and glide onto one of the nearby skyscrapers in the southwest and speak with the Liquidator there. You’ll be directed to a case after a brief cutscene, which you can open to receive the blueprint.

In case there was any doubt, Dying Light 2 lead designer Tymon Smektala commented to Eurogamer’s initial news item, essentially confirming it as a Cyberpunk 2077 allusion. Techland, the developer of Dying Light 2, and CD Projekt Red, the developer of Cyberpunk 2077, are both Polish, therefore it’s only natural that Techland would show CD Projekt Red some love.
The Cyber Hands 2177 homage isn’t the only easter egg you’ll find in Dying Light 2, as the game is jam-packed with them. Dead Island, Techland’s initial zombie property before moving on to Dying Light, is also frequently mentioned throughout the game. Players can locate a vinyl record named “Who Do You Voodoo” in the prologue, which will be familiar to fans of the first Dead Island.
The Left Finger of gloVa blueprint, which allows players to wield genuine finger guns, is one of many such unusual weapons stashed inside in secret locales in Dying Light 2. This blueprint, discovered in a hidden development area, can be constructed to allow players to physically point and shoot their way through zombies. Just make sure you don’t give anyone directions after it’s set up.
