Fans have been keeping a close eye on the upcoming interactive streaming series Silent Hill: Ascension for quite some time, even if it may not be the primary focus of Konami’s relaunch of the famed psychological horror title Silent Hill. A new trailer has been produced by Genvid Entertainment to illustrate exactly how the series functions ahead of the time when it will go live with its first episode. This premiere episode will be coming online very soon.
In Silent Hill: Ascension, which is a hybrid of a cinematic adventure game and Twitch Plays Pokemon, the player community will work together to solve puzzles and other types of quick-time events (QTEs) in order to make decisions that will affect how the story develops. These decisions will influence how the game’s narrative unfolds.
If you are unable to watch an episode when it first airs, you will still have the opportunity to participate and have your say in the decisions that are made for the next 24 hours after the broadcast. The first decision from the upcoming premiere is already available on the series’ app and website, by the way. The premiere of the first episode is scheduled for later today at 9 PM Eastern / 6 PM Pacific Time.
You may also purchase a Season Pass for Silent Hill: Ascension, despite the fact that playing the game is completely free of charge. The Season Pass comes with 100 different tiers of special goodies, such as cosmetics and Influence Points, which give your activities a greater bearing on the decisions that are made by the community.
