In 2021, a fighting game inspired by the Super Smash Bros. series debuted on the market and was noticed by many players. Ludosity Interactive received the opportunity to create a sequel, but Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 does not impress all journalists.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl received ratings of 64% two years ago, and although Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 currently boasts slightly better reviews (71%), it is easy to see that not all journalists are delighted with the production.
Praise is given to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 for a number of reasons, including a large number of characters with different moves, outstanding netcode with cross-platform gameplay, and the writers’ need to handle a significant number of corrections from the first installment. Since skins may be unlocked throughout the game, the authors did not elect to include microtransactions in this instance.
However, the game has problems with glitches that actually affect the gameplay or even require the player to restart the game. The DLC has already been confirmed, some of the main characters have been relegated to “helpers”, and at the same time, not everyone is convinced about the balance.
On the other hand, Nintendolife verifies that the Switch version of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 operates in 30 frames per second and has lengthy loading screens in addition to other critical details.
