Fans of medieval mayhem have finally received a major update in Chivalry 2. The main attraction in this free content delivery is a completely new map.
The Reclamation update is now available. Torn Banner Studios and Tripwire Interactive encourage us to play Chivalry 2 with a new trailer.
Update 2.09 has already been rolled out to PC, PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/XSS. What’s new in Chivalry 2 is to be “the most ambitious content ever delivered by Torn Banner Studios,” the publisher assures. In Reclamation, we get, first of all, a new Team Objective map for battles with 64 people, a time-limited game mode “Last Peasant Standing” and a new weapon in the form of a powerful crossbow: Siege Crossbow.
These are the most significant additions because Chivalry 2 features a lot of cosmetic things. What matters most, though, are the adjustments made to the fight’s equilibrium. Among the changes are the following: weapon thrusts after dodging are now slower, active parrying of attacks is no longer possible, and assisted aiming has been tweaked to reduce bullet “lock-on” when utilizing it. Knight-Guardian and Footman-Man-At-Arms, two warrior classes, were also granted access to light and medium shields.
Xbox Game Pass still has Chivalry 2 accessible. This online action game is quite popular, so it’s definitely worth checking out.
