Since the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was pushed back almost an entire year to February 2024, we haven’t heard a peep from Rocksteady Studios or WB Games regarding the game, and doubts about what form the title is in have been progressively louder, especially as its launch comes closer. However, in a short while from now, we will receive the first news on it that we have had in a few months.
During the time leading up to the release of Suicide Squad, Rocksteady will be releasing fresh information about the game through a video series called Suicide Squad Insider, which the developer has promised will begin soon. The plot of the game as well as how it is played will be the primary emphasis of the first episode, which will make its debut on Wednesday, November 15, at 10 am Pacific Time.
The most recent time we were able to play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was back in February, when Rocksteady Studios and WB Games presented a lengthy gameplay demonstration as part of a State of Play conference. Fans reacted negatively in a general manner to the presentation, with the majority of their criticism being focused at the live service aspect of the game as well as the looter shooter trappings it included.
As a direct result of the controversy described above, the release of Suicide Squad was pushed back from May 2023 to the beginning of 2024. According to leaks, one of the reasons for postponing the release of the game was to eliminate the necessity that players be constantly online. However, it has been reported that the main game mechanics would not be altered.
The release date of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been planned for February 2, 2024. The game will be available for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
