Bethesda did not disappoint in developing official DLSS support. The new features were checked by Digital Foundry, which praises the feature that, according to the developers, should be included in Starfield right from the premiere.
The Starfield developers have been working on developing proper DLSS compatibility for the game for a few weeks now, and the first players have received the most recent update. Interested parties may verify DLSS support on Steam (beta).
Digital Foundry decided to check how the expected function works in Starfield and in this case the developers provided DLSS 2 and DLSS 3. The developers have prepared native support and this is really good news for many players.
DLSS works just as well here as it did in the community mods available shortly after the game’s release, but as always it’s more convenient (and probably more stable) to have these options built-in.
According to Digital Foundry, Starfield saw a 20% boost in performance on the Ryzen 7 7800X3D in Akila City. The writer saw a 17% increase in performance on the Ryzen 5 3600, which will let gamers to play at the anticipated 60 frames per second considerably more often. Starfield can function at up to “165 frames per second” with high-end technology, but obviously, not everyone can afford such attractions.
The DF journalist highlights throughout the test that the most recent Starfield update offers a significant performance boost and that ultimately a significantly greater number of gamers will be able to play at 60 frames per second.
