Sony will most likely be tempted to announce a new version of The Last of Us Part II in the near future – it is possible that the relevant announcement will take place at the upcoming The Game Awards 2023. The native edition of the Naughty Dog hit is already available on PlayStation servers.
The Last of Us Part II is one of the last games by PlayStation Studios from the PlayStation 4 era, which has not yet been released natively on PlayStation 5. The atmospheric story of Ellie and Joel, which still raises a lot of controversy and becomes the basis for many discussion, can be checked thanks to backward compatibility technology, although numerous rumors indicate that the game may soon be available on PS5.
PlayStation Size, which systematically searches PlayStation servers in search of interesting news, provided extremely intriguing news – Sony has made a new edition of The Last of Us Part II available in its database with the “PS5” mark.

It is not known what the Japanese giant is planning – whether it will be tempted to share the news via the PlayStation blog or wait until the famous The Game Awards gala (December 7) to present the title.
The Last of Us Part II should be available not only on PlayStation 5, but also on personal computers. Some time ago, Sony presented a new edition of Horizon Forbidden West – the complete edition is now available on PS5, and it will be available on PC at the beginning of next year.
The Last of Us Part II debuted in 2020 and garnered ratings of 93%. It is one of the biggest hits of PlayStation Studios during the previous generation.
