Ubisoft’s most mysterious project to date is still under development without any promising information. Beyond Good & Evil 2, since its last review, has been absent from the news scene.
In Bloomberg latest reports, the game Beyond Good & Evil 2 was mentioned, which the source confirmed to have entered at least its fifth year of development, considering that Ubisoft had announced that the game was under development in 2017, but it is believed that it has been under development for more than 8 years at least.
The source also mentioned that although the game has spent all this time while it is under development, it has never even come close to the last stages of development or full production. It is still in the very early stages of development. This news comes in conjunction with the confirmation of some sources, the most important of which Members of the development team said it was only a matter of time before the game’s cancellation was announced.
It is noteworthy that Ubisoft is now focusing on a new project related to the Assassin’s Creed series, which was additional content for the current Valhalla game in the series before turning into a separate game bearing the codename Rift, with the aim of bridging the gap between the current game and the next part of the series in the future.
As for Beyond Good & Evil 2, Ubisoft has confirmed that it is under development on two different occasions, the first was in 2020 when it announced that the game had entered the full development phase, and the second was in 2021 when it denied the rumors and confirmed that the game is still under development.
