This year, Ubisoft released the first “roadmap” for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on Twitter. It’s nothing out of the ordinary – Title Update 1.5.0 will be available to all gamers tomorrow. The whole game should be playable on all platforms during a free weekend that begins on February 24th and ends on February 28th.
The big paid expansion Dawn of Ragnarok, which sees Odin go to Svartalfheim to save his son Baldr from the fire giant Sutr, will be released next month. A recent gameplay deep-dive revealed some of the player’s abilities, like resurrecting defeated adversaries, teleporting, and transforming into a raven to fly.
This is in addition to new activities like the Valkyrie Trials, in which Odin battles both new and ancient enemies (with modifiers that can up the challenge and reward). On March 10th, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok will be released for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Google Stadia. In the meantime, stay tuned for additional information.
