There have already been a number of improvements to Innersloth’s Among Us, including the addition of Roles, Cosmicubes, support for up to 15 people, and a variety of other features. Despite the fact that there is more to come, the developer, in collaboration with Schell Games (of I Expect You To Die fame) and Robot Teddy, has revealed a completely new level of suspense: Among Us Virtual Reality.
Meta Quest 2 and Steam VR will be receiving it throughout the holiday season (which includes HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Valve Index). From the first trailer, it appears that everything about the social deduction party game has been faithfully recreated for this sequel. Due to the fact that you must now glance around corners, the Skeld Map becomes significantly more terrifying, to say nothing of venting in the first person.
Despite the fact that no kills were shown, the unpleasantness of discovering a corpse, pressing the huge red button to convene a meeting, and subsequent spiral into terror are still present. Keep an eye out for more information on a release date. In the interim, the old game will continue to receive upgrades, with new Roles, Cubes, and other features being introduced.
