More games joined the GeForce NOW service this week, which we can run via the cloud from NVIDIA. Strategy enthusiasts who will play, among others, the iconic Age of Empires III in the remastered edition will be especially pleased. However, this is not the end of the attractions, because the service also has a place for other interesting productions.
The GeForce NOW cloud has been regularly developed for many years, and NVIDIA is just finishing a major update of its servers, to which it introduces new graphics chips similar in performance to consumer GeForce RTX 4080 cards. Thanks to this, we can run advanced ray-tracing, enable NVIDIA DLSS 3 and Reflex, and enjoy smooth gameplay in 4K resolution and the highest possible image details. Three price variants have been prepared for customers – the free one is based on GTX series cards, offers a resolution of up to 1080p and 60 frames per second, and at the same time, unfortunately, queues interested parties and limits the duration of one session to an hour. The Priority variant is much more interesting, where for PLN 49 a month we can already play on computers equipped with RTX 20 graphics chips, extending the duration of the session to 6 hours and guaranteeing the quality of the game in FHD resolution and 60 FPS. The best is, of course, the Ultimate variant, where for PLN 99 a month we will get RTX 30 and 40 class servers, as well as, in addition to 4K resolution, the ability to play at 120 and 240 frames per second.
This week we added 10 new games to the service that we can play on our Steam accounts:
- Aliens: Dark Descent (June 20 on Steam)
- Trepang2 (June 21 on Steam)
- Forever Skies (from June 22 on Steam)
- Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition (Steam)
- AVA Global (Steam)
- Bloons TD 6 (Steam)
- Conqueror’s Blade (Steam)
- Layers of Fear (Steam)
- Park Beyond (Steam)
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Extraction (Steam)
As you can see, everyone will find something for themselves here, and Aliens: Dark Descent or Park Beyond are especially interesting, apart from Age of Empires III. Rainbow Six fans will be able to check out the new addition in action, and horror lovers will play Layers of Fear. As a reminder, GeForce NOW receives regular weekly updates, every Thursday. Microsoft, in turn, will soon allow, via the NVIDIA cloud, to play all productions included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription.
