Larian Studios has announced that hotfix 9 for Baldur’s Gate 3 is now live, only a few days after delivering hotfix 8 for the game. It includes a variety of improvements for bugs and problems while at the same time expanding the functionality of the Magic Mirror to include Hirelings. It is now possible for you to modify their look (within certain constraints), should you so want.
Altering your character’s name is another capability of the Magic Mirror. An unusual crash that occurred when unloading or rapid loading has been fixed, along with GPU crashes on Vulkan for the PS5, an issue with split-screen play on the PS5, and more. Other issues have also been addressed. A glitch that hindered the relationship between Minthara and the player character has also been resolved.
For further information, please refer to the complete patch notes. The PS5 and PC versions of Baldur’s Gate 3 are now available. Since its introduction, it has been met with widespread critical praise, and it is scheduled to become available for the Xbox Series X and Series S sometime between now and November. However, the Xbox Series S version of the game will not enable local split-screen play. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned for further developments.
