Borderlands 3 debuted on Nintendo Switch, so we can check out the gameplay and even take a look at the first tests and comparisons. The game may be of interest to loyal fans of the IP, who will have the opportunity to experience the adventure again.
Starting today, more players can check out Borderlands 3 on the small screen of the Nintendo console. The creators have prepared a complete edition offering players a base game with add-ons, and those interested must be prepared for a lot of downloading.
For Borderlands 3, we need to prepare 23.5GB of card space – the base takes up 8.5GB, and the expansions take up a total of 15GB. This is really a lot, but it’s not really surprising considering all the content that Gearbox Software offered in the package.
The first materials from Borderlands 3 have appeared on the small screen and this time we can count on pleasant gameplay – the developers have avoided the problems faced, among others, by Mortal Kombat 1 on the Nintendo platform.
The game obviously looks worse compared to the release intended for, for example, PlayStation 5, but interestingly – Borderlands 3 runs on Nintendo hardware at about 40-60 fps. The creators did not decide to lock frames to 30 fps. Sometimes there are larger drops (below 30 frames), but ultimately the game aims to offer a pleasant experience at around 40 fps. This is undoubtedly a big surprise, because after the announcement I was convinced that the authors of the port would decide to close the game at 30 fps.
