Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, Gotham Knights, and Between The Callisto Protocol are just some of the games that have been confirmed to be shown at the showcase during next week’s Summer Game Fest. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 gameplay, developed by Infinity Ward, constitutes yet another formidable entry on the list. On June 9th, it will get what is being called a “global premiere gaming level.”
Since the worldwide reveal is scheduled for the 8th of June, it is expected that the initial trailer will be shorter than subsequent ones and include a combination of cinematic sequences and in-game action. It’s possible that the gameplay of a certain level may be demonstrated in its entirety during the Summer Game Fest premiere (similar to how Call of Duty: Vanguard’s gameplay was first shown off at Gamescom Opening Night Live the previous year). As is customary, we will need to hold off until we have more information.
The video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will become available on October 28. Platforms could be revealed at the Summer Game Fest display, although data mining has suggested that both current-gen and previous-gen console versions, in addition to PC, will be available (where a return for the franchise to Steam is looking increasingly likely). It is anticipated that information on the first beta, as well as its many versions and pricing, will be formally published, so stay tuned for more information.
