There have been a lot of scandals related to the premiere of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III recently. A weak and short campaign and the recycling of maps instead of new locations made everyone look at this title quite critically. However, the game faces one more problem.
The problems of this year’s Call of Duty have been talked about for a long time, but as you can see, these were not exaggerated rumors at all, because to the pile of already existing reprehensible issues, there is one more, namely the downgrade that Activision’s work has been undergoing since the campaign was shown before several months.
The special show, during which we could see a clip from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III campaign, was not particularly impressive, but it had its cool moments and could fill us with optimism that, despite the development hell, the project will have at least intense story missions. These are enough for 3-4 hours of fun, but maybe they are at least epic? Unfortunately, a comparison of the demo with the full version available in stores clearly shows that the whole thing has undergone a massive downgrade.
There are fewer objects in the scene, fewer characters, many of the materials have been replaced with simpler versions, and the overall impression is that there is less going on here than before. Let’s hope CoD returns to form next year!
