If you still weren’t persuaded that Studio MDHR‘s Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course would be coming out this month, the developer has confirmed on Twitter that the game has been given the green light for release. The downloadable content (DLC) will be available on June 30 for $7.99 after all certifications have been passed.
The story takes place in a new location known as Inkwell Isle, and it follows Cuphead, Mugman, and a new playable character known as Ms. Chalice as they embark on a mission to assist Chef Saltbaker. Players may look forward to new bosses, one of which was just recently revealed during the Summer Game Fest showcase; nevertheless, they will have access to new weapons and charms with which to do battle. In addition, Ms. Chalice possesses her own unique skills, such as a ground roll and a dash that parries while she is in midair.
You can also bring Ms. Chalice into the main game and defeat the previous bosses in different ways by using her abilities. When it launches before the end of this month, Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course will be playable on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC platforms in addition to the Nintendo Switch. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for additional information and gameplay elements.
