On October 17th, Blizzard Entertainment will release the most significant content patch for Diablo 4, titled “Season of Blood.” Even while there is a lot to be thrilled about, such as the five new Uber Bosses and Vampiric Powers, as well as upgrades to the quality of life, the developer appears to have gotten ahead of themselves in the excitement for the game. It published a trailer for the season talking about some of the improvements, although the trailer was inaccurate about key aspects.
Raxxanterax of Maxroll.gg conducted an analysis of the trailer that was hosted on YouTube and noted the issues that it presented before it was taken down. The photos labeled “Before” and “After” have been switched around to reflect the fact that the dungeon layouts have been improved. There is also a comparison of the enhanced mount speed offered, however there is no noticeable difference between the two.
The computations for enhancements to XP are the worst of all, as they involve some addition rather than multiplication for the base amount. Blizzard has not commented on the flaws; but, if the trailer is made available online once again, maybe these errors will have been addressed. In the meanwhile, be sure to check back here for any developments.
