Blizzard Entertainment has made it clear many times that it has ambitious post-launch content plans for Diablo 4. The company intends to release yearly expansions, and earlier this year, it was announced that two of these expansions are now in the production stage. Recent announcements made by the business at BlizzCon 2023 included the debut of the first of them.
The first expansion for Diablo 4 will be titled Vessel of Hatred, and it is going to be one that players who are particularly familiar with Diablo 2 will want to keep an eye on. It has been confirmed that Mephisto, one of the three Prime Evils, will be taking center stage once again (as recent leaks hinted this would be the case). Players will also be returning to the jungles of Torajan.
Blizzard has promised that the new class will be utterly unique in comparison to any other class that has ever been included in a Diablo game. In the meantime, it has been established that the expansion will include the introduction of a new class. This is an extremely ambitious goal, to say the least.
The release of Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred is scheduled for some time in the late year 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and personal computers. Watch the quick CG announcement trailer that we have included below.
