After months of waiting, Code Masters can finally present the first gameplay from EA Sports WRC. The creators already announced in 2020 that they had been given the opportunity to develop their game under the WRC license, but the title is finally heading to the market.
In 30 days (03/11) the premiere of EA Sports WRC will take place. Codemasters and Electronic Arts have already shown the latest races several times, but only today we received pure gameplay – the material shows a drive through several locations.
EA Sports WRC is coming exclusively to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and personal computers, and the developers responsible for the DiRT Rally series have decided to offer players “the first true rally game of the new generation.” Players will be delighted with the content, because the title includes, among others, 18 official locations of the FIA World Rally Championship and over 600 km of unforgiving asphalt, gravel and snow sections.
The creators have also developed a new engine that will provide players with a new quality of gameplay – fans will be able to feel the differences in the surface, and each run will be a fight for the best time on all stages.
EA Sports WRC is unlikely to offer a next-gen setting, but in the case of this genre, gameplay is definitely the most important thing, because players have to feel the machine and compete with small parts of the tracks.
