The official PC system requirements for F1 23 have been made public by Codemasters, revealing that this latest F1 game will support Ray Tracing and VR on PC.
These PC specifications match those for F1 22 exactly. We can therefore confidently predict that F1 23 will have the exact same Ray Tracing effects as F1 22. Ray-traced shadows, reflections, ambient occlusion, and transparent reflections are so to be expected for PC gamers. I predict that the game will also support NVIDIA DLSS 2 (and possibly DLSS 3) technology.
F1 23 appears to be very similar to F1 22 from its initial screenshots. RTGI would be extremely beneficial for the game, but it appears that there are no present plans to enable it. And that’s unfortunate, to be honest. F1 22 plays quite smoothly on PC, therefore the addition of RTGI would greatly enhance its visual appeal.
Anyway, on June 16th, Electronic Arts will release F1 23. Its official PC system requirements are shown here.
