Square Enix has, at long last, released a brand new trailer for Final Fantasy 16, which showcases additional aspects of the game’s gameplay, world, characters, story, and other aspects, and also reveals a release window for the game. Square Enix has made the decision to shed light on other parts of the production of the PS5 role-playing game in light of the fact that the floodgates have been opened and new details on the PS5 RPG are finally beginning to seep through.
To be more specific, the Japanese corporation has revealed data about the development team for Final Fantasy 16, including the identities of some of the multiple leads for the project. It should come as no surprise that Naoki Yoshida, best renowned for his work on Final Fantasy 14, is serving as the game’s producer; this information has been available for some time, but it has just recently been verified. The fact that Ryota Suzuki, who is best known for developing Devil May Cry 5 and Dragon’s Dogma, is the game’s combat director has been known from at least the year 2020.
In the meantime, the details of a number of other posts have also been provided. The main director is Hiroshi Takai, who was engaged in the production of The Last Remnant and many Final Fantasy 14 expansions. Kazutoyo Maehiro, who wrote The Last Remnant and multiple Final Fantasy 14 expansions, is the creative director and is responsible for the game’s original screenplay.
Michael-Christopher Koji Fox, who has worked on Final Fantasy 14, Final Fantasy 11, and Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus, is serving as the localization director for the game. Hiroshi Minagawa, whose credits include Final Fantasy 14, Final Fantasy 12, and Final Fantasy Tactics, among many others, is the art director for the game. Both of these individuals have been involved in the development of numerous other Final Fantasy titles.
As the character designer, Kazuya Takahashi, who is well known for his contributions to the video games Final Fantasy 10, Final Fantasy 11, and Final Fantasy 14, is at work. Last but not least, the composer is Masayoshi Soken, who is well known for his work on Final Fantasy 14 and its expansions.

The release of Final Fantasy 16 is scheduled for the PS5 alone in the summer of 2023.
