Despite the fact that Final Fantasy 16 has been at the top of Famitsu’s weekly lists for the most highly anticipated upcoming games for a considerable amount of time now, those charts have not been dominated by Final Fantasy 16 over the past few weeks. After being dethroned from its perch above the charts by Splatoon 3 a month ago, it has now returned to its rightful position atop those rankings. However, in the most recent charts, the upcoming Switch shooter has fallen to the position of second place as a result of this development.
In the meantime, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which has also been consistently occupying one of the top three spots for a considerable amount of time, has been knocked down to the number four spot after being passed by the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Quest 10 Offline. It is followed by another upcoming Switch RPG called LIVE A LIVE, which is an HD-2D remake that will be released in a few days. This game is currently in fifth place.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, who were ranked eighth the previous week, have moved up to the sixth position. The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is currently ranked seventh, which is followed by Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in sixth place. Bayonetta 3, another upcoming Switch exclusive game, comes in at number eight. The game finally has a release date set for it.
