The forthcoming Olympic Esports Week will include competition in at least one version of the popular game Fortnite. The event, which will take place in Singapore, is planned to be a festival that lasts for a total of four days and will include both conventional and virtual sports competitions. Players that are a member of the Fortnite Champion Series and are participating in the event will compete against one another in a tournament of sharpshooting.
Attendance at the event may be done remotely via the use of a platform called Creative Island, which was developed especially for the Olympic event. In Fortnite, players will compete against one another to demonstrate their accuracy with firearms. The event may be seen live on the website that is officially associated with the Olympic Games. The event will begin on the 22nd and continue through the 25th of June.
In addition to the game, a variety of other competitive video games will also be featured during Olympic Esports Week. These titles include Gran Turismo 7, Just Dance, Zwift Cycling, and online chess. In addition to that, there will be simulated tournaments based on the sports of archery, baseball, taekwondo, tennis, and sailing throughout the event.
Since it was first released, the video game Fortnite has enjoyed a great deal of popularity. Unreal Editor for Fortnite was only launched not too long ago by Epic Games, the game’s creator. This new feature gives players the ability to create and publish their own games while using Fortnite as the base layer. Additionally, support for Windows 7 and 8 was discontinued earlier this year by Fortnite.
