Gran Turismo fans have been waiting for a new conventional entry in Polyphony Digital and Sony’s famous racing sim series for quite some time, and based on all we’ve learned about the upcoming Gran Turismo 7, it appears that it will live up to expectations. Other facts about the game have surfaced in the run-up to its release, and we now have a better notion of what to expect in terms of file size.
Gran Turismo 7 will have a download size of 89.445 on the PS5, according to @PlaystationSize on Twitter, a page that frequently cleanses the PlayStation Network backend to track files, uploads, and their sizes. Pre-loading will begin on February 25, several days ahead of launch, without the game’s day one patch (which hasn’t been formally confirmed but will undoubtedly arrive).

It remains to be seen what the game’s size is going to be on the PS4. The PS5’s Kraken decompression has often resulted in the same going being smaller on the new console than its last-gen counterpart, but we don’t yet know if GT7 is going to be even bigger than 90 GB (which is already pretty big) on the PS4.
