The big update to Gran Turismo 7 debuted on November 2. There are so many new things here that Polyphony Digital decided to introduce a new, cinematic introduction to the game.
The “Spec II” update (1.40) has been available in Gran Turismo 7 for several days. The file pack introduces many new features, not only the Split Screen multiplayer mode for up to 4 people, additional tabs in GT Cafe, new challenges, fresh cars and the Lake Louise race track, which you can read more about here. The film introduction celebrates the history of cars – from the earliest years, the popularization of pneumatic tires, breaking the first speed records, to modern times. Fresh shots start at 3:46 of the video.
Competition in the form of Forza Motorsport has also recently promised to support its races very intensively. Turn 10 has planned a major update of the new Forza for mid-November , which includes, among others: new race track and fixes for over 200 bugs.
