A new update for Rockstar Games‘ Grand Theft Auto 5 is now out, bringing with it a variety of bug patches across all platforms. Additionally, there is a “Motion Blur” slider for the recently launched Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 versions, and there is a patch for the transition from Story Mode to GTA Online taking significantly longer than usual.
A number of other issues, such as the DualSense adaptive trigger feedback on the Hao’s Special Works enhanced Grotti Turismo Classic being too strong, and Xbox Series X/S players becoming stuck on the alert screen after Quick Resume, have been addressed. Players on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have also reported that a bug that prevented Grand Theft Auto Online progress from being stored has been resolved.
A number of bugs, including crashes across all platforms and difficulties such as characters becoming trapped on a blank screen when migrating from previous-generation consoles to current-generation consoles, have been addressed. See the complete list of changes in the patch notes below. Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC are the platforms on which Grand Theft Auto 5 is presently available.
