The next Grand Theft Auto game has been in development by Rockstar for some time, and excitement for its release is growing (despite Grand Theft Auto 5’s sales continuing to soar a decade after its release). Although there hasn’t been much official information released about the game, there have been a few hints here and there.
Bryan Zampella, an actor who has long been rumored to be portraying one of Grand Theft Auto 6’s two major protagonists, has contributed a lot of those. The character, Jason, might be seen in early-stage production footage that surfaced last year.
Zampella has recently teased his part in GTA 6 on social media once more. He has done so repeatedly in recent months. Zampella jokedly mentioned having “missions” to complete and stealing automobiles during a live video on Instagram with former Rockstar cinematographer Joseph L. Rubino. He also mentioned being in Miami and working on a significant unannounced project. According to reports, Vice metropolis, a fictional metropolis modeled on Miami, serves as the backdrop for Grand Theft Auto 6. Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar, recently announced that it would be releasing “several groundbreaking titles” in the upcoming fiscal year, which it anticipates will allow it to set a record for net bookings at over $8 billion. That, as you can expect, has given rise to rumors that Grand Theft Auto 6 is aiming for that release window.
