Since its launch, High on Life has been setting records as the fourth most played game on Xbox and less than a week after its launch, it has set a high score on Xbox Game Pass. As it became the largest launch on the Xbox Game Pass service in 2022.
According to BenjiSales, the comic game has surpassed Minecraft and Forza Horizon 5 in popularity on the service and has become the most popular game on Game Pass.
Today, it is officially revealed through the game’s Twitter account that the number of High on Life players has exceeded 7.5 million players. Thanks, of course, to making the game available on Game Pass.
Mike Fridley, Squanch Games Studio Director, was delighted with the record-breaking achievement last year, saying:
This is the first time we’ve launched a game through Game Pass, and we’ve been blown away by the reaction of players who have made us the most popular game on Game Pass right now.
When Squanch Games was first set up, the goal was to make the games we wanted to play — and Game Pass helps us reach gamers who want to play those games too.
