Silent Hill Ascension faces heavy criticism , Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.1 receives a lot of negative reviews, but apparently Konami has big plans for the development of both IPs. In the latest financial report, the company suggests its next projects.
As we know, Silent Hill 2 Remake from Bloober Team and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater are being developed, but we can be sure that the producer wants to remind players about further stories from both universes.
Konami has published its latest financial report, in which the company suggests two situations. Players can apparently look forward to more remakes of Silent Hill stories:
On the current front, we are working diligently on Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, which faithfully recreates the story, characters and design of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, one of the most beloved entries in the Metal Gear series, and updates its art style to a modern graphics for the current generation, as well as remakes and completely new entries from the Silent Hill series, which gained popularity as a psychological horror
As you know, the company announced a series of new games from the Silent Hill universe, but at least officially only one remake is being created – the aforementioned Silent Hill 2 Remake from Bloober Team. It is very possible that the company will want to remind us of events from subsequent games from this universe.
This is not the end, however, because the document published by Konami mentions further collections for fans of the Metal Gear Solid series. The aforementioned Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.1 is “the first part of a collection that will set the trajectory of the Metal Gear series.”
The note “Vol. 1” in the name and leaks suggested that the company was preparing to announce further projects, but only now have we received official news that suggests the appearance of further sets.
