One of those games that probably does not require any sort of introduction is called It Takes Two. After all, we are discussing the crowning achievement of the Hazelight studio as well as one of the most well-known co-op production projects there has ever been. It turned out that the adventure was the “black horse” of 2021, and to the great astonishment of many people, it won a whole number of rankings for being that year’s greatest production in a lot of different categories. To put that in perspective, when we talk about such a qualitative stance, is it any wonder at all?
It is fascinating to note that despite the fact that two years have gone by since the launch, sales do not appear to be decreasing in any way. The producers of It Takes Two revealed the news via the game’s official Twitter account, stating that the game has already sold more than 10 million copies. In addition, this is a really impressive accomplishment considering the nature of the project as well as its scale and financial constraints. Especially if we take into account one of the concerns brought forth by the authors.
After all, ten million copies sold equals, to put it more simply, and based on probability, as many as twenty million players who had the opportunity to experience the adventures of a couple in a terrible life circumstance! Now, all that’s left to do is offer my sincere congratulations on such a remarkable achievement and express the hope that this achievement will serve as yet another indication that today’s gaming landscape requires the continued existence of cooperatively played games. Hazelight, we need you to come through for us!
Our minds are officially blown.#ItTakesTwo has sold over 10 (TEN!) MILLION 😳💥
Potentially twice as many players have enjoyed our game – we never dared to dream of so many fans!
