A recent listing on SteamDB has revealed that Jurassic World Evolution 2 will soon receive a new addition that is heavily influenced by the game Jurassic World Dominion. The Dominion Biosyn Expansion, which was released on June 14th, includes a new campaign that stars characters such as Claire Dearing, Dr. Alan Grant, and Dr. Ellie Sattler (with the actual actors lending their voices). Please have a look at the first trailer down below.
During the course of the campaign, players will be tasked with building the Biosyn Genetics Research Compound, exploring amber mines in quest of rare genes, and hatching new dinosaur species. In addition, a brand new “What if” scenario is going to be included for the Chaos Theory Mode, which will see players building a facility in the brand new Sierra Nevada setting. The snow-covered hills, pine forests, and plains each provide their own unique difficulties; however, the introduction of a new dinosaur-wrangling mechanic will make it significantly simpler to move the dinosaurs across environments.
The feathered dinosaurs Therizinosaurus and Pyroraptor were among the additional species of dinosaurs that were included in the game. The Dimetrodon and the Quetzalcoatlus will also be making an appearance, but this time around they will be accompanied by two new variants: the Dreadnoughtus and the Giganotosaurus. In addition to this, cosmetic skins for the Dilophosaurus and the Parasaurolophus, as well as scarred and feathered skins for the Tyrannosaurus Rex, are currently being worked on. Keep an eye out for further information as we get closer to releasing the expansion.
