One day after the last pre-release trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom came out, a leaked commercial for the game showed a few quick, never-before-seen glimpses of Link’s next journey.
VGC says that the ad, which seems to be called “You Can Do What,” shows two scenes that give new information about the game. The first is a different look at the three-headed monster that was waiting on The Bridge of Hylia in the last trailer. The name of the monster, Flame Gleeok, is revealed in the spot. Gleeok was the name of the enemy dragon with multiple heads in the original Legend of Zelda for the NES, and some fans thought that its arrival could mean that traditional dungeons were coming back.
In the second scene, a masked Link shoots an arrow at a nearby tree. The arrow hits a flower growing on the tree’s trunk. This is a brand-new part of the game. When the arrow hits the flower, the dark area lights up. This shows that there will be some light-based challenges in Link’s way on this new adventure.
The last trailer for Tears Of The Kingdom gave fans one more quick look at what’s going on in Hyrule this time. It also showed that Ganondorf is back, and he’s a bit taller now. Also, he looks good now, so that’s something.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be available on May 12 only for the Nintendo Switch. On April 29, a special version of the Nintendo Switch OLED console with a Zelda theme will come out two weeks early.
