According to Bandai Namco, the Little Nightmares game series has sold more than 12 million units across all platforms. Little Nightmares, Little Nightmares 2, and the mobile spin-off game Very Little Nightmares are all part of the Little Nightmares brand.
In the 2017 video game Little Nightmares, players take on the role of Six as they attempt to leave the Maw, an underwater monster-filled vessel. The focus of the 2021 sequel was Mono, who meets the girl in the yellow raincoat and becomes involved in an adventure.
Despite the Little Nightmares franchise’s popularity, Bandai Namco hasn’t revealed any plans for upcoming sequels or spin-offs.
Tarsier Studios, the studio behind Little Nightmares, appears to be developing a new game as proven by tweets from the firm. When the Embracer Group bought the studio in 2019, it was confirmed that Bandai Namco would continue to own the Little Nightmares intellectual property.
The Little Nightmares series of video games is available on a number of different platforms. While Little Nightmares 2 is also available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the first Little Nightmares is playable on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.
