CI Games and HEXWORKS are still working on improving Lords of the Fallen, but it’s time to expand the game. Developers have huge development plans and players can even count on the title to feature content developed in cooperation with the community.
On October 13, Lords of the Fallen had its world premiere. Although there were some issues with the game when it first launched, the developers are always trying to make the adventure better and have great plans for the dual-universe plot.
Lords of the Fallen will receive two events in the coming weeks, and thanks to each of them, new content will appear in the production. However, the studio wants to provide “regular, weekly updates” that will offer the game better performance, increase stability and improve balance. The authors also plan systematic improvements to online and cross-play gameplay.
By the end of the year, CI Games and HEXWORKS hope to include “multiple new story questlines through which players will unlock unique armor and weapon sets”. Curiously, though, the creators are getting ready for special broadcasts wherein components will be made in collaboration with the community and subsequently included to the game.
Additionally, 12 new spells, finishers, and special functions will be added to Lords of the Fallen. The New Game Plus (NG+) modifier system, which is exclusive to the genre, is one of the features the authors hope to implement using player feedback.
As the HEXWORKS team, we are extremely proud of the open relationship with our community, which we are constantly building and strengthening. We actively listen to constructive feedback and work hard to deliver what we collectively believe will contribute to the further development of Lords of the Fallen. Each subsequent addition is the result of the commitment and passion we have for our work. Thus, we strive to push the boundaries not only of the game itself, but also of the entire genre, said Saül Gascon, Studio Director at HEXWORKS.
