Following Marvel’s Blade’s surprise reveal at this year’s Game Awards, we found out that the game will only be available on Microsoft platforms. Regretfully, it may take us up to 4 years to get around to playing it.
During the XboxEra editorial team’s Christmas podcast, in which he was one of the participants, either Nick Baker or the insider Jeff Grubb said that the folks running the company that produced this game are getting ready to release it no sooner than 2027. This would imply that Blade wouldn’t arrive for at least 4 years.
An interesting fact is that in such a case, Marvel’s Blade does not have to be developed exclusively for two consoles – Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Nick Baker noted that the title in question may well be one of the first cross-generation games that could appear on new, next-gen Microsoft hardware.
