Although Minecraft Dungeons hasn’t exactly lit the world on fire since its release in 2020, the dungeon crawling action RPG spinoff has done very well for itself in that time, at least by the numbers. For example, Mojang recently revealed on Twitter that Minecraft Dungeons now has over 15 million players across all platforms, surpassing the 10 million it had at the same time last year.
To mark the occasion, Minecraft Dungeons has launched Festival of Frost, an inter-themed event that will run from now until February 22. This will add additional “frost-themed floors” to the Tower and seasonal trials from the Chills and Thrills event, as well as the Iceologer Cape to every player who logs into the game during this time.
Minecraft Dungeons is available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
