Many Minecraft fans believe that the pace at which Mojang introduces new features to the game is too slow. A petition has appeared online expressing the dissatisfaction of Minecraft fans.
Over 340,000 people have already signed a petition against the “Mob Vote”, a vote in which only one mob is selected from among several interesting creature designs in the game. Fans believe that this situation means that many fantastic ideas are rejected and the supply of fresh content in the game is low. Today alone, the petition has been signed by 71,000 Minecraft fans.
“Mob Vote tempts us with visions of potentially great content that will never make it to the game. And on top of that, Mojang, with Microsoft’s support, is publishing less content than it used to, when the company didn’t have publisher support. Fans see minimal fresh content in the game they love ” – says the justification for the petition, which can be found here.
Mojang and Microsoft have not commented on the ongoing signature collection campaign for the petition. The next Minecraft Live, where the results of the criticized Mob Vote are to be revealed, will take place on October 15.
By the way – Microsoft recently officially announced the end of support for Minecraft Dungeons.
