Now that we are officially over halfway through the year, we have reached the moment where we will start to see new yearly installments in licensed annual sports franchises. This is an exciting time for sports fans. Naturally, reveals for those games will also be occurring in the following weeks, and it would appear that NBA 2K23 2K could be one of the first to go public with its information.
The publisher 2K Games recently teased that reveal on Twitter, indicating that the cover stars, release date, gameplay details, and first looks for this year’s game in its yearly basketball franchise will be coming soon. The tease was accompanied by the phrase “coming soon.” There is no indication as to how soon “soon” will be; however, considering that July is typically the month in which the annual NBA 2K games are launched, it is more than just a bit plausible that the NBA 2K23 announcement will take place in the weeks to come. Keep an eye out for further information.
It will be fascinating to see which platforms the game will debut on, however, it is likely that the series will continue to be cross-gen at least for the remainder of this year. There is always the option to go back to NBA 2K22 while waiting for the new game to be released. NBA 2K22 is now playable on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Get Ready. #NBA2K23 is coming.
Don’t miss a beat as we reveal our cover stars, release gameplay first looks, and more.
