Fans of fast cars have been waiting for years for Electronic Arts to offer the community a new game from the Burnout series. The title actually appeared in the Nintendo digital store, but it turns out that it is a production of GameToTop Corp. studio.
Although the production is unrelated to the popular game that fans all around the world enjoy, Burnout has returned to the eShop. Though they did not create the IP, Electronic Arts’ legal team will undoubtedly be intrigued by the GameToTop Corp initiative.
Burnout from GameToTop Corp is a production that, according to the official description, will provide players with “intense races” and for victories we will receive “well-deserved rewards”. Developers encourage players to show off their skills so that those interested can then develop their careers and ultimately “become a Burnout champion.”
The situation is interesting, however, because “Burnout” is still an active trademark belonging to Electronic Arts, so the publisher will probably take up the project at the right time.
It looks like GameToTop Corp came up with a clever idea: the company looks for well-known intellectual properties, develops its own games, and hopes to profit from other people’s hard work.
The VGC editorial staff claims that Rocket Car: Ultimate Ball League Machines, also known as Bus Simulator 2023, is a Rocket League clone developed by GameToTop Corp. that is unrelated to this IP but looks similar to the well-known game Astragon. Although it has nothing to do with the Farming Simulator series, players may also purchase Farming Tractor Simulator 2023.
It is worth recalling that a few weeks ago , a poor imitation of The Last of Us was available on the eShop , which faced severe criticism and Sony took care of the game’s situation .
