BioWare celebrates Mass Effect Day, so on this occasion the company published a message containing encrypted information. The studio is having fun with the community and at the same time heralding good times for the universe.
BioWare said several years ago that it was developing additional Dragon Age and Mass Effect episodes. The first product to hit the market is a dragon-filled adventure, and reports have it that the production might launch as early as next year.
Although we will have to wait for Mass Effect 5, executive producer and marketing director Mike Gamble has not overlooked this day. In a message released on Mass Effect Day (N7), a BioWare spokesperson stated that development is underway on the new section and thanks fans for their support.
Every November 7, everyone – developers, superfans, casual fans, and just-so-fans – celebrate (and speculate!) the games, stories, and communities that make the Mass Effect series special. This is proof of the long-lasting popularity of this universe and the characters inhabiting it. Eleven years into the days of N7 and sixteen years of Mass Effect, the brand continues to inspire our team and empower us to create new adventures every day. Whether it’s one of the many people who has been with the series from the beginning or someone who recently joined BioWare, we are all incredibly fortunate to be able to make this future a reality.
This process is both rewarding and demanding. Over the years, we have asked ourselves many of the same questions that you have asked us! What happened to everyone you know and love in these games? Who really died? Who had children with whom? What does a volus baby cry sound like? What about galaxies? And those endings! What the hell happened to our Asari scholar serving as Shadow Broker? What about S… Whatever, you know what I mean. Of course, there are answers to these questions, but you’ll have to wait to find out. And everything we reveal won’t be easy to find, in keeping with the #N7Day tradition.
But seriously… Thank you. We are grateful for everything we can do thanks to you. We approach the future of this universe with gratitude and deep respect. With respect to you – the community. Respect for your love and sacrifice. Respect for the stories and tales you have created and for the characters you love. And with respect for the future, because we have the opportunity to do something great and wonderful – for you.
Players are wondering whether the unsaid word “S…” is related to the theory that the new Mass Effect will, in its own way, return to its roots and offer us the story of Commander Shepard?
The situation is interesting, however, because there is a hidden message on the BioWare blog – the company inserted the numbers “0” and “1” in different words, which turned out to be binary code. The creators published the word “EPSILON”, which led those interested to a secret website.
I thought Starfield would at least quench my thirst for more Mass Effects, but it didn’t.
I really need the next Mass Effect game to be good. Bioware did a great job with the Legendary Edition and uhhh…
Are they teasing Shepard’s return again?! There is also a mysterious binary code!
Okay, this is getting VERY interesting!
The binary code is “epsilon”, and fans have already found a secret website related to it!
