Payday 3 was released in an unplayable state on PS5 . The problem was fixed quite quickly, but the developers from the Starbreeze studio decided to apologize for this situation and other problems that appeared on the day of the premiere of the new cooperative shooter.
Unfortunately, problems with Payday 3 on PS5 are not the only problems that new owners of the game have encountered. It turns out that many people complain about problems with server operation and matchmaking. Yesterday, the developers informed that the errors related to the operation of matchmaking had already been resolved, but tonight another entry from Starbreeze appeared, which included information that there were problems with the operation of the servers again.
“The service repair process has been stopped and we have discovered additional issues. The team is currently working to restore full functionality as quickly as possible,” the Starbreeze team stated.
The situation is quite serious, because without online functionality, players cannot even complete missions with AI-controlled companions. The CEO of Starbreeze apologizes for the situation:
“We are very sorry that the infrastructure could not withstand it. It is impossible to prepare for every scenario, but we clearly should have done more. We are working tirelessly to restore all services to our players,” wrote Tobias Sjogren, CEO of Starbreeze.
The developers also informed that the patch can be expected on October 5. The update will fix, among others: issues with cosmetic items on PS5.
