When Persona 5 Tactica comes later this year, it will take the whole Phantom Thieves gang—or, well, the majority of the Phantom Thieves—to a new journey with a new chibi-esque visual and turn-based tactical gameplay. Goro Akechi, the mistaken antagonist, and Kasumi Yoshizawa, the star of Persona 5 Royal, are two characters that will be noticeably absent, though it seems even they won’t be gone for very long.
At yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, a new teaser gave us a fresh look at Persona 5 Tactica in action and confirmed that the game will receive the day one story DLC title Repaint Your Heart. Interestingly, it appears like Akechi and Kasumi will appear in the DLC, which would be consistent with Atlus’ claim that the DLC will feature “highly anticipated characters”.
According to Twitter user @MbKKssTBhz5, who has previously revealed truthful information about the turn-based strategy game and recently shared key art for the Repaint Your Heart DLC that features Kasumi and Akechi in the game’s chibi-style aesthetic below its logo.
Atlus hasn’t yet made any official announcements on the DLC, but because the game won’t be released for a while, it’s probable that details will be revealed in the upcoming weeks and months. Remain tuned.
On November 17, Persona 5 Tactica will be made available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox One S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
