I am glad that I have been able to write for some time that we are operating in an extremely fertile period when it comes to the video game industry. In fact, it’s hard to point out just one title worth checking out every month. Well – currently, even on a weekly basis, it is quite a challenge. This is due to the fact that there were a lot of debuts overlapping, which it would be a shame not to play.
Of course, this also affects game sales, which are much better now than a few months ago. What’s more, a title has finally appeared that has knocked Pikmin off its throne in the Land of the Rising Sun. In fact, it is worth mentioning that the fourth installment of the series not only fell off the throne, but also went down four places! This shows that we got a lot of quality new products. Take a look at the first piece :
Game sales in Japan (25/09 – 01/10)
- [NS] Fate/Samurai Remnant – 34,728
- [NS] Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai – 24,367
- [PS5] Fate/Samurai Remnant – 21,569
- [PS5] Ys X: Nordics – 18,563
- [NS] Pikmin 4 – 18,307 (total: 882,536)
- [NS] EA Sports FC 24 – 16,485
- [PS5] EA Sports FC 24 – 15,863
- [NS] Ys X: Nordics – 15,846
- [PS4] Fate/Samurai Remnant – 12,203
- [PS4] EA Sports FC 24 – 11,750
As you can see, we’re having a record week for new items on the list. In fact, only Pikmin 4 is not a debutant there, and such a situation has never happened before. Well, as I said, a lot of this is thanks to a lot of prime ministers. And probably several other factors as well … I wonder, for example, whether the performance of the Japanese national team at the World Cup in Qatar affects the results of EA Sports FC 24!
