It was rumored in April and May that Sony was getting ready to host a major event in conjunction with this year’s fake E3 convention. The Japanese firm did, in fact, visit our location in June for State of Play, during which they showcased a variety of fascinating productions, proving that the rumors were founded in reality.
Since July, we have been hearing rumors that Sony will not say their final word for this year and will instead throw one more party for their community. This time around, it is anticipated that it will be even larger than before due to the fact that we will be discussing the complete PlayStation Showcase, which will not only showcase exclusive games but also, most likely, third-party games that have been developed for the PS5. In light of the fact that God of War: Ragnarok is expected to be released in November of this year, we are still awaiting a presentation that covers all aspects of the game.
Shpeshal Nick, who is known for having a high level of trust in the gaming business, was the one who recorded the voice on the day of the Sony event. He confirmed on Twitter that he had called persons who were knowledgeable about Sony’s plans and inquired about the time and date of the event:
“I ask Sony whether they have their own event planned for September because I received a lot of questions, and they told me that the show will be set for August rather than September. However, in order to prevent anyone from being upset with me [in the event that it does not – editor’s note], I made sure to include the statement “I don’t know if it will be carried over” as part of the answer!”
So because *I’ve* been getting asked, I asked if Sony had a show planned for September and got told that at the moment the plan is for a show in August. But just to make sure those that want to be pissed at me will be, “not sure if it will be moved” was also part of the reply!

It appears that Sony will offer PlayStation Showcase no later than September. This revelation really confirms earlier statements made by other insiders who also predicted that the incident would happen no later than August or September based on their sources.
