Elon Musk reacted to the news about disconnecting PlayStation consoles from X/Twitter and the head of the corporation apparently decided to act. According to information from the source itself, PS5 and PS4 may apparently receive a completely new feature related to the popular platform.
Sony said a few days ago that PlayStation systems would no longer be integrated with X/Twitter. As a matter of fact, users of PS5 and PS4 will no longer be able to upload images to the platform, and Elon Musk’s website will no longer get updates about trophies.
The businessman, who founded or co-founded PayPal, SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, and Boring Company, chose to get involved in the situation, and it seems like users may anticipate further collaboration between X/Twitter and Sony gadgets.
A comment from the official X/Twitter developer account suggests that there may be an option to stream gameplay on X/Twitter on PS5 and PS4:
To clarify, this is a legacy integration. We have established contact to explore new opportunities for cooperation, including live broadcasting. Stay tuned for more information!
NEWS: 𝕏's integration with Playstation consoles has now gone offline.
It seems whatever issue Sony has with X hasn't been resolved yet, though Elon stated last week he would look into the problem. pic.twitter.com/BaoAhjRdDB
