Recent job applications from Atlus hinted that Persona 6 is currently in development, and while fans of the series are waiting for the new sequel to be officially revealed, Sony just announced that Persona 5 will be removed from the list of free PS Plus Collection games on PS5.
Sony just unveiled its free PlayStation Plus games for the month of April, followed by the announcement that Persona 5 will be removed from the PS Plus Collection list on May 11, 2022, without explaining the reasons. They added the game to their library before deleting it and are able to play it for the duration of their PS Plus subscription.
The PS Plus Collection features a series of PS4 games including several first-party games from Sony. The service also offers games from third-party companies such as Fallout 4, Final Fantasy XV, and Monster Hunter World.
To ensure you can freely experience the game after it has been removed from the PS Plus Collection, you must add it to your game library at the moment before deleting it at a later time.
