Unfortunately, I don’t have good news for all fans of the Titanfall series. Respawn Entertainment, thanks to its CEO, Vince Zampelli, announced that it would like to create a third part, but unfortunately they are not currently working on anything like that and it does not seem like they will change their plans in the near future. It’s a pity.
Vince added that he would love to see how Titanfall 3 develops, but he does not want to declare or reveal anything, because then people might take it the wrong way. Any information regarding the work on the game could disturb the strictly planned release schedule, which Respawn Entertainment implements in detail, but it is not the only obstacle. Zampella adds that the Titanfall universe has gathered many fans who can’t wait to hear about the next installment, but its release currently makes no sense. All because of Apex Legends, which is set in the climate of Titanfall. So the question is, how do you make a Titanfall game that doesn’t confuse Apex lovers? This is quite a difficult task at the moment.
It’s a pity, because I will never forget when the first Titanfall debuted, and I just bought an Xbox One. I couldn’t tear myself away from this title, and the combination of mech combat with soldiers was an absolutely sensational mix. I haven’t played that much in two, but I spent a solid dozen hours on this game. I would love to play next-gen three. By the way, Zampella added that about 50 people worked on a game called “Titanfall Legends” for some time, but it was not a continuation of the previous two installments. Leaks also say that EA canceled this project internally in February this year. So we’ll probably never know what it was supposed to be.
