The Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Mini 2 has been given the formal announcement treatment. It will be available in Japan on October 27th, for a retail price of 9,980 yen, which is around $76.26. It has dimensions of 120.8mm in width, 32.3mm in height, and 116.5mm in length, making it smaller than the original Genesis/Mega Drive Mini, and it provides access to more than 50 games from the Genesis/Mega Drive and Sega/Mega CD eras. Output resolutions include 720p and 480p, and there is also a bonus game called Fantasy Zone that was never made available for the original consoles. Have a look at the whole list of titles that have been confirmed down below:

A Genesis/Mega Drive Tower Mini 2 add-on is available at 4,500 yen ($34.38) if you want the full retro experience. The Sega/Mega CD 2 Mini, a Virtua Racing mini cartridge, a Sonic CD mini disc, and mounting spacers for the Genesis/Mega Drive Mini and Super 32X Mini are all included. Fighting Pad 6B controllers are also available for 2,500 yen ($19.10).
