The specifics of Spider-Man 2‘s release have yet not been announced by Insomniac Games and Sony, and the game’s specific promotion has not even begun. Jason Schreier highlighted the month of release, and it turns out that it was due of this title that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was able to move to 2024.
Tony Todd spoke about Spider-Man 2’s intentions in the second half of March; the actor said that a “mass promotion” of the game, which will launch in September, will start in August. Sony and Insomniac Games chose not to address the issue, but it turns out the Venom actor was correct.
Jason Schreier responded to a player who said that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League had been delayed until next year because of Sony’s unreleased game. However, a well-known journalist claimed that DC’s production may not have wanted to compete with Spider-Man 2.
Spider-Man 2 in September could also be a factor.
Was thinking there must be a November/December PS release we don’t know about yet that pushed Suicide Squad to February

As you can see, someone else thinks Spider-Man 2 will be released in September. This might result in a very fascinating situation where Sony and Microsoft (Starfield) would offer their exclusive production in the same month.
Although we must wait for confirmation, there are many signs that the promotion for Peter Parker and Miles Morales’ new adventure will start right at the start of the second half of 2023.
